“The XYZ Atlas” is an interactive documentation of our emotional experiences. With projects in Austin, Bryan & College Station, and Congress Avenue, the collaboration has grown into a multi-media project about people’s experiences of place that affect health and well-being, urban planning, and cultural tourism for diverse audiences of all ages. It grew so much since 2013 it has its own website. Major artworks include the Hedonic Map of Austin, the Experience Map of Bryan and College Station, the Dance of the Cosmos, the 20′ Vertex.
“Sacred Space” is a series of artwork that indexes the presence of a person within the geometrical scale of the body. I explore the interactive space of the human body through architectural sculpture and gestural mark-making. This included large solo shows at the Julia Butridge Gallery at the Dougherty Art Center and the Umlauf Garden Party in 2013 and at Texas A&M University’s Wright Gallery in 2014.
